World Class Carbon Partners
All carbon offset funds are contributed to a project that has been carefully selected and verified as a certified carbon offset project.
We are as committed as you and your customers are to improving the environment and well-being of our planet.

Verified Carbon Projects
Transparency is key to our mission in helping our merchants see their contributions and the impact they are making. We provide official carbon certificates to show use of funds.

Active Carbon Offset Projects

Power For Our Planet
Brazil – By capturing the methane being released from the landfill, the project is supplying the local energy grid with a clean renewable energy source.
Project Type – Renewable Energy: Avoided Methane Emissions
What It Does:
- Prevents emissions of methane gas into the atmosphere
- Improves local air quality and sanitation
- Improves safety: gas is managed rather than subject to a potential explosion
- Creates employment & job training for skilled labor
- Creates electricity for the management of the plant and grid

A Walk In The Woods
Montana – Preserving and building standing US forest stocks while enhancing biodiversity.
Project Type – Nature-Based Removal
What It Does:
- Green Diamond Company has a long history of managing forests throughout the United States. In 2021, the company acquired 291,000 acres of working forest land in Northwestern Montana. Their objective is to manage these lands as working forests by improving productivity while increasing carbon stocks and protecting shared community values including recreation, clean water, wildlife, and carbon.
- The project area is approximately 71,864.61 acres and the project implements activities such as older rotation ages, uneven-aged forest management, and focuses on density management. The impact of these project activities will result in significant carbon sequestration at scale in a unique private forest in Montana.
- Green Diamond has agreed to maintain public access for hunting, fishing, and other recreational activities by continuing its participation in the Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks Block Management program. Additionally, Green Diamond adheres to the terms of the Thompson-Fisher River Conservation Easement, a significant portion of which falls within the Green Diamond footprint to protect 142,0000 acres from being sold for future development. Furthermore, Green Diamond collaborates with The Trust for Public Land to successfully complete the ongoing Montana Great Outdoors Conservation Project and the Lost Trail Conservation Area, both of which would protect crucial wildlife habitats and migration corridors. These initiatives aim to ensure access to essential recreational areas for residents and visitors while preserving the integrity of working forests.
- In line with its dedication to conservation, Green Diamond will assume the obligations outlined in the Native Fish Habitat Conservation Plan. This plan safeguards nearly 300,000 acres of habitat of native fish species, including bull trout, cutthroat, and other vulnerable varieties. Similar conservation agreements are in place for Green Diamond’s other properties. Such agreements, like the Native Fish HCP, provide long-term stability in managing forests while concurrently protecting the habitats of sensitive species.
- The biodiversity of this area will be further preserved by encouraging growth of the native species that are well-suited to the region’s climate and ecosystem.

Seeing The Forest For The Trees
Mexico – This small community-based Improved Forestry Management project encourages residents to preserve and grow the biomass in their standing forests despite multiple opportunities to cut trees for profit or for increased grazing opportunities.
Project Type – Forestry: Nature-Based Removal
What It Does:
- Protects several species of birds, orchids and other rare flowers, wild boars, white-tailed deer, and the puma—all threatened by deforestation.
- Contributes to a model for urgently needed forest conservation throughout Mexico and South America.
- Sustainably manages the forest with a minimal impact on the ecosystem but an extensive contribution to social and economic development.
- Creates jobs for local residents. Without the project, the main revenue source is agriculture with some cattle grazing.
- Provides education on forest management, monitoring and carbon revenue.
- Protects land ownership and revenue ownership rights of the communities and enables people keeps people in rural communities.
- Brings in additional resources to reinvest in the forest.

A Bearadise
Alaska – These important old growth forests will reduce about 1.5 million tonnes of carbon in 30 years. This project ensures the survival of these trees, providing a safe home for the animals and clean air for Earth.
Project Type – Avoided Nature Loss
What It Does:
- Sequesters carbon over a 30-year crediting period
- Recovers ecosystem home to grasses, blueberries, feather and tree mosses
- Protects of 5 species of salmon, brown bears, otters, weasels (ermines), deer, goats, beaver, rabbits and bald eagles
- Provides local jobs in regard to property supervision and monitoring

Together we have reduced
Metric Tons of Carbon
That’s the same as:
- Over 200 cars driven for a year
- More than 2.5 million miles driven
- Switching 38,000 incadecent lights to LEDs
- 16,500 tree seedlings grown for 10 years
